Prior to founding AgriBriefing Rory worked across a wide range of specialist vertical information sectors with Incisive Media, MEED and Metal Bulletin / FastMarkets. Diane Young
CEO - The Drum

Diane Young is co-founder and CEO of The Drum, which is a media company serving marketers and media people with news, events, insights, consultancy and other services.
From a degree in pure and applied mathematics through a short stint in the health service, Diane has been instrumental in growing The Drum from 14 people in a damp basement in Glasgow to an internationally recognised B2B media company with offices in Glasgow, London, New York and Singapore.

Daniel Pearce

Daniel Pearce is CEO and owner of TTG Media. Joining as Editor in 2010, he mounted a management buy-out in 2013, setting up TTG Media as a wholly independent business. Rachael Prasher

In her twenty-plus years at Haymarket Media, Rachael has worked across a wide range of consumer markets. In 2017 she was appointed Managing Director of Haymarket Automotive, charged with delivering the business transformational plan behind their four Automotive brands - What Car?, Autocar, Classic & Sports Car and CAT. Rachael chairs the judging panel for Autocar’s Great British Women in the Car Industry, is the member representative for the European Car of the Year OC and the member representative for the Automotive 30% Club. Piers Bearne

Piers Bearne is an entrepreneur and investor who has built and sold his own media businesses, and who has worked on M&A for major buyers, both as CEO and consultant. Piers sold his first exhibition business, Rock Media, to Imago Group in 2006. As CEO of Clarion Conferences, he was involved in the sale of Clarion to VSS in 2008. Stephen Farish

Stephen Farish is managing director of the strategy and marketing consultancy Red River Blue. He has over 30 years' experience in media and marketing. She started out as a Sub Editor at what was then Ziff Davis, before moving into product development and site management. Later at CBS Interactive she was a B2B product manager for ZDNet and then TechRepublic.

Ed Tranter

Ed held a series of senior management roles across Miller Freeman, Centaur and Informa before joining Findlay in 2008. After the acquisition of Findlay by Mark Allen Group in 2013, Ed became a member of the group board and executive director of MA Business. A strong B2B publisher, but with no exhibitions business, Ed was tasked with the launch of MA Exhibitions. In less than four years, and built largely on launches and organic growth, MA Exhibitions became a multi award winning organiser, delivering 36% of the groups turnover, with events on five continents.

Caroline Cronin
Head of Events - Burlington Media Group

Caroline has 12 years’ experience working in events within the B2B publishing sector across various verticals including retail, real estate and more recently, legal. She is part of the senior leadership team at Burlington Media Group, a publishing and events company operating in the legal business services marketplace. She heads up the events division, which encompasses two portfolios of events that sit under the business’ two media brands – Briefing and Legal Practice Management.

Patrick Lewis

Max Hotopf
Founder - HBI

Max Hotopf set up Healthcare Business International from a tent in a barn in Suffolk in 2008. Starting or and copywriting, he became a business journalist working on trade titles and then had 3 years as a City Reporter on the Daily Mail. He was the first journalist to break the Maxwell Pension scandal. In the 1990s he founded and ran IT Europa, a newsletter and database covering the channel to markets for computer products. He swims year round in the North Sea.

Lauretta Roberts

Lauretta Roberts is co-founder and CEO of fashion industry insights, intelligence and evens platform Lauretta founded the service with Antony Hawman and they are backed by EMB Media, the investment vehicle of Martin Durham, who is also chairman of
A seasoned B2B media expert, Lauretta began her career at Haymarket moving up to be editor-in-chief of a group of titles in the print media space.
While working as brand director at WGSN she and Antony acquired a fashion networking club called The Industry London. They developed a news content platform alongside it and created a business plan for an intelligence platform, driven by consumer research, to help retailers navigate the fast-changing fashion landscape.

Dan Stevenson
MD - Ampere Analysis

Dan is the founder and MD of Ampere Analysis – a fast-growing data and analytics firm focused on the TV, entertainment and telecoms sectors.
Dan has spent the past 20 years working in media and tech analysis. Originally working as a technology Analyst, he then spent ten years as part of the management team at Screen Digest, prior to its sale to IHS Markit. Claire Jenkinson

Nick Blunden

Paul Lomax
CDO - NLA Media Access

Paul is currently Chief Digital Officer at NLA Media Access, a publisher-owned rights licensing and publisher services business with a core aim of supporting journalism. The NLA works on behalf of the UK’s newspaper and magazine publishers to license organisations to make paper and digital copies of newspaper, magazine and news website content. Prior to this, Paul spent eight years as CTO at Dennis, leading their transformation from print publisher to a digital business which now sells over £100m of cars and car finance online each year. Shane Redding

Reneé Doegar

After running the Marketing for the last seven years, Reneé has been recently appointed as the Commercial Director of the London Review of Books, Europe’s largest literary magazine. Seán Dagan Wood

Seán Dagan Wood is the publisher at Positive News, the independent online and print magazine for good journalism about the good things that are happening in the world. Seán led a successful crowdfunding campaign that transformed Positive News into a co-operative owned by readers worldwide – the first ‘community shares’ crowdfunding campaign at the global scale for a media organisation. Sophie Griffiths
Editor - TTG Media

Sophie Griffiths joined Travel Trade Gazette in March 2010 as a news reporter, covering cruise, agents, interviews and industry analyses, before being appointed news editor in March 2013 and then working her way up to the position of editor in January 2017. She is also the founder of TTG LGBT - a network for LGBT people and allies within the travel industry - which launched in March 2015 and champions diversity within the sector.
This year Sophie was awarded Editor of the Year – Trade & Professional by the British Society of Magazine Editors. Alastair Lewis
