Carolyn Morgan has launched, acquired, grown and sold specialist media businesses across print, digital events.  After a series of senior marketing, publishing, events and digital roles at Emap, she co-founded the Specialist Media Show, which was sold in 2014.  Carolyn has moderated many media conferences including FIPP Congress, FIPP Mobile, Digital Innovators Summit and B2B Media Strategies.  Carolyn now advises consumer and b2b media businesses on digital strategy as a consultant and Non Exec Director.

Esther is a media analyst, marketer, designer, and co-host of the Media Voices Podcast, a weekly round-up of all the key media news, as well as interviews with guests from top organisations. She writes frequently for What's New in Publishing, as well as editing their popular weekly newsletter and their growing library of reports. She has recently written and designed The Publisher's Guide to Podcasting, a comprehensive 50 page report on the challenges and opportunities of podcasts for publishers.

Alastair Lewis

Alastair is a former Publisher, Brand Director and then Managing Director at Haymarket and Future PLC running some of the UK’s best known consumer media brands including Autocar, Stuff, FourFourTwo, How It Works and What Hi-Fi? amongst others. His 20 years in media have seen him focus on Advertising, International Licensing, Content Syndication, Digital Subscriptions, E-Commerce and Affiliate revenues as well as Content Strategy, Audience Growth and Business Development. Now working as an independent consultant he helps media companies diversify their traditional revenue streams.

John Barnes
Sloop Media

John is currently the Managing Director of Sloop Media. He was until recently the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at Infopro Digital. Infopro was the AOP’s B2B Digital publisher of the year in both 2018 and 2019.
Prior to this he held the same role at Incisive Media and was responsible for driving change in its digital strategy and delivery globally across the group. During this time Incisive Media was named UK digital publisher of the year four times.
He has over 30 years experience in B2B Media.

Ed Tranter
73 Media

Ed held a series of senior management roles across Miller Freeman, Centaur and Informa before joining Findlay in 2008. After the acquisition of Findlay by Mark Allen Group in 2013, Ed became a member of the group board and executive director of MA Business. A strong B2B publisher, but with no exhibitions business, Ed was tasked with the launch of MA Exhibitions. In less than four years, and built largely on launches and organic growth, MA Exhibitions became a multi award winning organiser, delivering 36% of the groups turnover, with events on five continents.
Ed is now a member of the AEO board and the managing director and founder of 73 Media.
